First time back at the dock since it was warm enough to not have a shirt on. Crazy winds knocked our dry docked boats around but we managed to gather up a bunch of strong souls to help take care of business. A few frost bitten fingers and windburned cheeks later we managed to secure one ton of weight back into it’s original position.

We are the Metro Athletic Dragons. Our club is based in New York City and we have been around since 1997, competing in dragon boating regattas nationally and internationally. M.A.D. is all about enjoying ourselves through the thrill of racing dragon boats and hanging out with a diverse community of paddlers and friends.
