M.A.D is a non-profit 501(c)(3) cultural club; established under Metro Asian Cultural Exchange (M.A.C.E.). Our unique position as a participant of the fastest growing sport in the world at the heart of New York City, which is a combination of culture, teamwork, and athleticism, makes us very appealing to all local/international, Asian, and sporting communities.
We are a competitive team that participates in multiple races in local and international locations covering a range of target markets. These races attract a mixture of different consumers as well as many media networks such as TV, radio, and print. We are the Metro Athletic Dragons. Our club is based in New York City and we have been around since 1997, competing in dragon boating regattas nationally and internationally.
